Enjoy The Ozark Mountains Nearby

Find numerous fishing lakes, miles of walking trails, and cave exploration in the Ozark Mountains surrounding the bed and breakfast.

Beaver Lake

Beaver Lake is one of the best-known lakes in the area and the closest to town.  The lake is located just minutes from downtown.  It covers 31,700 acres and offers beautiful, clear, clean water that will call you to take a dip, rent a kayak or paddleboard, even a catamaran!  It’s also a lake that calls you to strap on some tanks and scuba dive. Bass & trout fishing can easily keep you entertained while you enjoy the sunshine and beautiful surroundings.  Head over to Lake Leatherwood City Park and take in the beauty of yet another Ozark Mountain Lake just 10 minutes away.  If you would prefer to stay dry, there are miles of mountain biking and walking trails.

Onyx Cave

Explore Onyx Cave just 6 miles outside of Eureka. This is an activity the entire family can enjoy. Head down to the self-guided tour, put on a headset and listen to the audio as you wander the pathway and marvel at the underground world.  After your 30 minute self-guided tour stroll over and enjoy some shopping at the gift shop.

Turpentine Creek Wildlife Refuge

This isn’t like any zoo you’ve been to -- this is an animal sanctuary for big cats.  Marvel at the beauty of these once abandoned and abused animals.  You’ll see them recovered in a calm, safe location where they receive the care they deserve.  Want to add some adventure to your visit, stay the night in an “adults” only lodge or bring your family to stay in a treehouse.
